Akiva Podolsky is co-founder of Geneva Private Equity. Akiva is dynamic strategist and financial engineer, leading the alternative investments arm of Geneva. Akiva also manages the ultra-high-net-worth client relations and family office outreach for Geneva.
As a former senior asset manager for a prestigious family office, Akiva successfully oversaw a portfolio of over 3,000 apartment units under his direct purview, demonstrating his expertise in large-scale property operations, strategic asset optimization, and institutional-level real estate management. His comprehensive background in property management provided him with deep operational insights and hands-on experience across all facets of real estate investment, finance and management.
Philip Kahn is CFO at Geneva Private Equity, with more than a decade of experience in healthcare technology, finance, and strategic advisory. He has served as CFO of multiple entities, overseeing financial strategy, reporting, and transactions across international, multi-entity organizations. Philip previously led financial operations at value-based care EHR provider Integra Connect, where he drove improvements in forecasting, revenue recognition, and ERP optimization.
He began his career as an auditor with PwC, supporting audits for leading healthcare and life sciences companies. Throughout his career, Philip has worked with organizations including Eli Lilly, Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, AbbVie, Moderna, Roche, AstraZeneca, Johns Hopkins, and Children’s National Medical Center. A CPA licensed in Ohio and Maryland, he is recognized for building scalable finance teams and delivering the financial clarity needed to support growth in complex, regulated sectors.
Warren Wright is the Technology Director at Geneva Private Equity, with 35 years of experience in business development, finance, and technology. As former CEO of SEAD Software LLC, he led the development of a cutting-edge data analytics platform for enterprises. Warren’s prior roles include CEO of Direct Insite Corp., serving global clients like IBM, EDS, and Siemens, and a technology Consultant for firms including MTMC, Clarity Diagnostics, and Clarity Lab Solutions amongst many others. His strategic planning and technology expertise help to guide Geneva’s MedTech investments, driving innovation and growth.
Dr. Joseph M. Chalil, MBBS, MBA, FACHE, serves as Chief Medical Advisor at Geneva Private Equity, where he provides expert medical and scientific counsel on investment strategies, due diligence, and portfolio development across healthcare, life sciences, biotechnology, diagnostics, and related infrastructure sectors. In addition, Dr. Chalil serves as Managing Partner of Parker Lloyd, where he leads the firm’s U.S. operations and provides high-level strategic advisory and investment guidance in life sciences, healthcare technology, diagnostics, and global healthcare infrastructure. A strategic clinical and business leader with over 26 years of global experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and healthcare sectors, Dr. Chalil has held senior leadership positions at major pharmaceutical companies, including Abbott, Hoffmann-La Roche, Boehringer Ingelheim, and DBV Technologies. Since joining Parker Lloyd in 2025, Dr. Chalil has advised foreign healthcare and diagnostics companies on U.S. market entry, including 510(k) and De Novo submissions, CLIA waiver strategies, clinical trial design, ISO 13485/MDSAP compliance, and commercial launches. He also guides U.S. corporations on expansion into APAC, MENA, and EU markets through joint ventures, licensing, and distribution agreements, unlocking significant pipeline value. An accomplished inventor, Dr. Chalil holds seven U.S. and international patents in CMOS-MEMS hybrid integrated technologies. He is the bestselling author of two influential books on global healthcare transformation: India Beyond the Pandemic: A Sustainable Path Towards Global Quality Healthcare (2024) and Beyond the COVID-19 Pandemic: Envisioning a Better World by Transforming the Future of Healthcare (2020). Recognized as a World-Class Media Influencer, he regularly authors op-eds and white papers on healthcare policy, innovation, and market-driven regulations for global access. Dr. Chalil serves as Advisor to the Ministry of Health in the Government of India. He is a U.S. Navy Medical Corps veteran and Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE). He holds academic appointments at Nova Southeastern University, including Adjunct Professor and Chair of the Complex Health Systems Advisory Board at the H. Avi Grossman is the Director of Investor Relations and Strategic Marketing at Geneva Private Equity. He brings experience across capital markets, compliance, and early-stage technology, supported by involvement in more than $200M of multifamily transactions and multiple equity raises. His background includes managing accredited investor onboarding and regulatory documentation, as well as working with early-stage companies on product development, market positioning, and go-to-market execution. Avi holds an MBA from Baruch College with PMP, PSM, and PMA Core certifications.

Dr. Barry D. Mangel, M.D. serves as Chief, Clinical Service Lines at Wellstar Health System, a leading integrated healthcare network in Georgia. In this role, he is responsible for enterprise-wide clinical service-line strategy, operational alignment, and quality performance across multiple specialties. His appointment reflects expanded leadership following years of guiding cardiovascular services at the system level.
Dr. Mangel is a board-certified interventional cardiologist with more than 30 years of clinical experience. He earned his medical degree through Boston University’s combined B.A./M.D. program and completed residency training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, followed by a cardiovascular fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center / Harvard Medical School. Widely recognized for clinical excellence, he has been named among “Top Doctors” by Castle Connolly and Atlanta Magazine on multiple occasions. Dr. Mangel brings a combination of deep clinical insight and operational leadership.
Raphael L. Yechieli, MD, is an Associate Professor of Radiation Oncology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. He also serves as Medical Director and Service Chief of Radiation Oncology at Jackson Memorial Hospital, with appointments at the University of Miami Hospital and Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.His clinical practice focuses on advanced, noninvasive radiation therapies for complex malignancies, with expertise in sarcoma, lung, and brain tumors, as well as select benign conditions requiring highly targeted treatment.
Dr. Yechieli is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology and brings over a decade of academic, clinical, and leadership experience. He earned his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed residency training in Radiation Oncology at Henry Ford Hospital. A nationally recognized clinician and published investigator, he has contributed extensively to the peer-reviewed literature and held leadership roles within the American Society for Radiation Oncology and academic medical institutions. He brings a deep clinical, operational, and academic perspective to Geneva Private Equity’s Medical Advisory Board.
Gaurav Malik serves as Vice President of Patient Services and Business Development for Quest Diagnostics’ Southeast Region, overseeing operations across Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Northern Mississippi, and Puerto Rico. He leads a team caring for over 20 million patients, manages general operations in Puerto Rico, and drives new business development, innovation, academic partnerships, and strategic ventures.
With nearly 25 years of operational experience at Fortune organizations including GE Healthcare, GE Capital, and Quest Diagnostics, Gaurav has held senior roles in sales, quality, operations, supply chain, cash, and risk management. A certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt with a bachelor’s degree in science and an MBA in Marketing, he is passionate about growth through Six Sigma and Lean methodologies, leading with visibility and heart. He previously served on the board and as a strategic advisor for Mid America Clinical Laboratory and is joining the Geneva PE board of advisors.
